Stunning views, relaxing terrace, pool, tennis court, daily manager's reception. Authentic Portuguese food. Perfect for history, culture, and calm. The bar serves great drinks.
As if I wanted to watch TV or have a decent breakfast selection anyway.

The view and location was spectacular! Our suites were comfortable and elegant. I should have booked for two nights and taken a day off from sightseeing to just relax at this wonderful oasis.
Our GPS took us on a very, very interesting route to get to the hotel!

We had a blast with our squad exploring the sick outdoor activities nearby. We went trekking like bosses and caught some mad fish. Plus, the outdoor pool and tennis court had epic views, making us feel like rockstars. It was the perfect spot for adventure junkies like us!
The only thing that could've made it even more lit for us party animals would be if the hotel had a sick nightclub. Imagine dancing the night away and partying like there's no tomorrow.

I was absolutely amazed by the view from my room at Flag Hotel Convento Do Desagravo. The breathtaking scenery of vineyards and shimmering blue mountains was truly unforgettable. Every evening, I would sit on the shared balcony, sipping a glass of Vino Verde and watching the stunning sunsets. It was a truly magical experience. The location of the hotel, on the edge of Portugal's largest natural conservation area, added to the charm and tranquility of the surroundings. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely love to stay at this hotel again in the future. I highly recommend this hotel for its stunning views and peaceful atmosphere.

This secluded hotel is located in the reconstructed monastery in an interesting scenic area amidst lovely gardens with a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains. The spacious and well-appointed rooms with comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms provide a great night's sleep. The attentive staff offers great service throughout your stay, and the tasty restaurant food is accompanied by an extensive wine list. The luxurious swimming pool area is a major highlight of the property, offering a variety of shaded sitting areas.
Breakfast options may not be excellent, but still, there are plenty of other options to explore in nearby villages.

The hotel is located in a beautiful rural area with breathtaking views. The hot chocolate and gingerbread cookies served during Christmas were a nice touch. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome.
The rooms felt dated and in need of a refurbishment. The heating system struggled to keep the room warm, making it uncomfortable during the cold winter nights.

We recently had a romantic escape to a beautiful converted convent in the Portuguese countryside. The stunning views of vineyards and mountains coupled with a comfortable and quiet room made our stay perfect. The on-site restaurant had delicious food and a great selection of local wines. We loved the swimming pool that was surrounded by olive trees and the fact that it was never too crowded. the friendly and helpful staff made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our stay.
Although the hotel was beautiful and located in a great scenic location, the directions to the reception were not very clear and caused some confusion upon our arrival. The breakfast coffee machine was also slow and complicated, but this was a minor inconvenience compared to the overall experience.
